Star Crossed, Plus a Bear

Here is a beautiful quilt, made by my quilting cousin, Sue! The pattern is Star Crossed by Color Girl Quilts--Sharon McConnell.

Sue used her Tula Pink fabric stash and came up with a vibrant modern quilt. The edge-to-edge quilting design I quilted it with is called Marmalade. It is a fun, swirly design that adds great movement over the quilt top.

And here's one of my Mother Bear teddy bears that has recently made the trip over the ocean to live with a child in Africa. I crocheted this teddy bear in January, 2015, so it's been on a journey.

  1. Great quilt from Sue! And I bet that bear is excited to have a child to play with it. ;)

    1. Thank you, Kathy! Isn't that the cutest quilt?! I love the plus signs thrown in the mix. And yes, so glad that bear is out of the box and into the arms!

  2. That's a beautiful quilt. I see the plus signs first, and the stars second. Together they add lots of interest.
