Rainbow Quilt 🌈

This is Sally's first quilt! Isn't the rainbow grading beautiful?!

It was quite an undertaking for a new quilter, at 94" X 103".

These are actually not half-square triangles, but rectangular triangles.

The quilting is called "Matrix", a crazy scattering of triangles.

The thread color is light turquoise--more visible on the black extra-wide backing.

Beautiful quilt, Sally!!! Great job!

Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

  1. Beautiful! A first quilt? Wow. She seems to have great color sense, too! The quilting is such a beautiful geometric design and complements the triangles well!

  5. Ambitious project for a first time quilter but it appears she has training as a maker of some sort. I love the background color that was chosen too.

    1. Yes, I didn't notice that it was entirely rectangles as first either! Not until I went to put it up on my blog. Thanks for stopping by, Susan!
