Baby Elephant Walk

Kathi made this sweet quilt for a baby boy that will be coming into this world in the next week or two!

This is the cutest mother/child fabric:

In case you are wondering, yes, baby elephants really do hold their mother's tail!

The quilting I chose is Modernish 3--a sort of path the elephants are following through the jungle.

Kathi pieced the backing with another strip of that cute elephant fabric.

Great job, Kathi! This turned out super cute!

Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

  1. I love that fabric! Such a sweet baby quilt. The Modernish quiting is perfect. It seems like that is one of your most popular quilting pantographs.

  3. Very cute! This is a very nice design to feature focal fabrics like that. And "Baby Elephant Walk" was one of the piano pieces I had memorized when I was 12 years old :)
