T-Shirt Quilt Extraordinaire

This is Deb's third t-shirt quilt. I'd say she's become quite a pro at the puzzle work of t-shirt quilts!

I did freemotion quilting, block by block. Here are some of my favorite blocks:







Here are the four quadrants:



And that tiger! It was part of his brother's favorite swim trunks!

The backing is batik. This is a gift for her son's 18th birthday on February 6, 2018.

In addition, I made two pillowcases to go with the quilt, made out of the backing and binding fabrics:

  5. Deb did a wonderful job on her t-shirt quilt, and you brought it to life with your quilting. It looks fantastic! Did you change thread colors throughout, or use one color?

  7. Great collection and great quilt I have at least two of these in my future...one for my son and one for my best friend's husband. Both will be fun but a lot of work!!
