Quilter Bonnie finished another quilt top! How cool is this?!!

I love having modern quilts to quilt! I get to use fun, new, modern edge-to-edge designs. Check out the quilting here:

Interesting Fact: Both Quilter Bonnie and I had the hardest time saying "Linkety Split"! We would call it "Lickety Split", or whatever else would come out when we talked about this quilt!?!

  5. What a bright wonderful quilt! I love the design. The quilting reminds me of the splitting of a cell ( 9th grade biology). And it so goes with the design.

  9. What a fun, colorful looking quilt! Love it, and yes I can see the watermelons! Is your machine computerized or do you use pantographs for this? It looks absolutely perfect.

  17. The quilting is lovely. I'm sure it was difficult to come up with a color that would work well with so many bright colors.

    1. Thanks for you comment, Andrea! My typical method of choosing the color of thread is to look and the quilt and observe what color I see the most of, and use that color. In this case, with the border being turquoise, I knew just what to go to. I also happen to know the binding is going to be turquoise.
