Molly has a lot of fun tips for the QAL, like how to audition our fabrics. I found this very helpful and switched fabrics a few times until I settled on this arrangement:
I quilted my wall hanging with my favorite 1/8" matchstick quilting:
I quilted it with metallic thread. Three of the fabrics, plus the binding all have metallic also:

ReplyDeleteJust fantastic! I do love auditioning fabric in a similar way and take pictures to see what I like. If I am still not sure I make a slide show on my computer and watch it for awhile!
