⬅️Mini ⬅️ One ➡️ Way ⬅️

Quilt Info:

Pattern: Mini One Way by Sassafras Lane
Size: 12" X 15"
Quilting: Freemotion Quilting--1/4" Matchstick
Batting: Quilters Dream Batting--Poly
Thread: Superior Metallics in top, Glide 60 Cream in bobbin
Fun Fact: I made one arrow go the other way. This reminds me of the Bible verse, Romans 2:12--"Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think."

I used Superior Metallics, a variegated color:

The backing is one fat quarter. I used Command Velcro on a flat dowel to hang this quilt:

And here it is, hanging in our stairway quilt gallery:

  1. Thank goodness for that one arrow going in the opposite direction. I now know where to look. Besides normal is boring :-) You can have a mini quilt show all in your stairway quilt gallery :-)

  11. Love your arrow quilt! Making one arrow in the opposite direction is perfect! Love the verse reference. I made a baby quilt with elephants marching and had one going in the opposite direction. I named it Dare to Be Different! Same concept!

  14. What an awesome mini! Of course, there is always one in every crowd going the wrong way. The metallic thread is just perfect for the quilting and the command strip for hanging is the bet. AND, I love that it is already hanging - amazing!

  16. Hello Nancy, That's a lovely design! First thing I looked for was the arrow pointing the other way. It looks lovely on the wall with all the other mini quilts.
