great green fabrics in your blocks!!!
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I don't see a single green print that you and I have in common. And I've been "making fabric" lately, from my scraps, and pieced two green blocks myself. I think my greens are mostly brighter than yours. But doesn't it feel good to be using-up your scraps? You've got a nice collection of colors coming together.
ReplyDeleteLight and lime green are usually a different month, so these are more along the line of forest green.
DeleteOh what a great idea!! These blocks are great!!
ReplyDeleteNice selection of GREEN scraps in these blocks, Nancy. Your 36-Patch blocks are SEW perfect for using up those 2.5" squares!
ReplyDeleteLots of pretty greens in your blocks, Nancy! I don't see any I recognize, and I have lots of greens, too. These are going to make some beautiful quilts!
ReplyDeleteGreat use of your squares! I have 3 small tins of 1.5" squares cut from scraps, and am thinking this would be a really great way of using them. But there is also a little box of 2.5" squares. Now you have me thinking how good it would be to sew them into blocks like yours!
ReplyDeleteI too have lots and lots of green. But I only see one fabric that is/was in my collection. At least I think it is all gone! First block, row 4, column 2. It's a great way to use up squares already cut! But a bit boring, IMHO!! Grin!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your green blocks. I maybe have one or two of the solids and some close to what you have but very few in common...very interesting.
ReplyDeleteYou are playing with beautiful green fabrics, Nancy. Your blocks look great.
ReplyDeleteYou have some great greens in those blocks. I see the number of blocks per month have went down, will you go back and do more of Feb. and March or is this the number you need for the setting you are doing?
ReplyDeleteSo many interesting green fabrics! I think that's why I like scrap quilts!
ReplyDeleteI knew we "shared" some green fabrics. When I looked, though, there wasn't one that we had in common. Green is a color I have a lot of scraps too! What a surprise!! I do love your green blocks and started something similar in 16 x 16 layout. I did it because it was time to use a bunch of "bits!"--TerryK@OnGoingProjects
ReplyDeleteGreat work on your rainbow scrap project! You have a lot of fun green prints!
ReplyDeleteIt always amazes how different everybody's fabric stashes. I don't see any of my fabrics in your blocks. Your green blocks are looking great.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely collection of greens. This pile starts to grow quite quickly.
