The Fab Farm sew along quilt is finished just in time, as our second grandchild has arrived! This quilt is for him!!!
Quilt Info:
Pattern: Fab Farm by Elizabeth Hartmann
Size: 42" x 43"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton Request--thinnest
Thread: Glide--Smoke
Pantograph: Angled Squares from Red Willow Quilts--free pantograph, for all you computerized quilters!
Interesting Info: I used fabrics from my Color Club subscription through GE Designs, which is a great way to gather blenders of every color and shade!!!Minkee for the backing!!! ⤴️ I chose a geometric quilting design to be subtle and let the quilt be about the animals.
I also made this flannel receiving blanket for our grandson. The pattern is Self-Binding Baby Blanket from Jenny Doan at Missouri Star Quilt Co. ⤵️ Many customers come into the quilt shop to pick out fabrics for this pattern! It takes 1 yard of flannel for the front and 1 1/4 yards of flannel for the back.Finished off with a decorative stitch! ⤵️
Meet our grandson!!!
