Here are 6 baby quilts I made for Bundles of Love this month, leaning into green for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge color for February.
Pattern: Honey Bouquet from Villa Rosa Designs
Size: 36" x 45"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton
Thread: Glide--Mint
I like to try out new pantographs on my own quilts. I love the flow of this panto! If you're a digital longarm quilter, this panto is free right now at Quilting OESD.
Flannel on the back of these baby quilts makes them even softer. ⤵️
My Quilt Info #2:

My Quilt Info #3:

This and the last quilt look very similar as they're made from my scrap 5" squares. Iowa Rachel commented on my January RSC post that they call this 99 Charm Squares quilt "Charms for Charity". I'm simply calling it 99 Charms, as it is 9 charm squares across by 11 charm squares down.

ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful collection of baby quilt. The flannel backing is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing all the different panto designs you have used along the way.
I hadn't realised that 99 charms creates the perfect size for a baby quilt.
How sensible.
Thanks for sharing these.
Those all look fabulous! Love all the quilting and that flannel whale backing.
ReplyDeleteLove them all! Pretty fabrics and quilting.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed looking at all your finishes! Thanks for including the name of the pantographs too! Your machine sewn bindings look so good. I need to keep practicing them. Flannel backings are great especially for donation quilts. You got so much done this month!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Baby quilts are so satisfying to make--quick, small, sweet!
DeleteThese all look so cozy and cheerful. A simple design, but oh so pretty!
ReplyDeleteWell done! These will be loved by the recipients.
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet baby quilts, and fun to look at, Nancy! Lots of things to "spy," including the Eiffel Tower. 😊 I also liked that leafy quilting panto you found!
ReplyDeleteYou always make these little quilts extra special with your quilting!
ReplyDeleteThey're all so cheerful! A question -- do you ever do custom or semi-custom quilting?
ReplyDeleteLove the 99 Charms in green & the whale backing is the BEST!
ReplyDeleteOh how I love these green baby quilts! You’ve done such a good job with the quilting. I also like soft fabrics for the backing on baby quilts!
ReplyDeleteYour baby quilts are adorable! Very pretty fabrics in there - I love the little Eiffel Tower ;) - and super cute backings! The baby animals quilting panto is fabulous, and I love the elegant Spring Green and Meandering Jasmine. Beautiful and inspiring quilts! Thank you so much for sharing and linking up.
ReplyDeleteI love the Honey Bouquet pattern, and now 99 Charms. Well, done with all the varied greens.
ReplyDeleteMust give 99 charms a try although where we give baby quilts generally want a narrower quilt maybe I'll try an 81 charm quilt!
ReplyDeleteGreat job with the quilts. They all look wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post with all those wonderful quilts destined for little ones. Love seeing the different pantos you chose, and always fun to find new ones. I love the baby animals one, and perfect for the quilt with more solids. I just added it to my list of patterns in case I ever need it...it is really right for the scrappy quilts!
ReplyDeleteLove all these beautiful colorful quilts and am really partial to the colors in the last one, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteAll are wonderful and filled with love & prayers! Those baby elephants are adorable! Thanks for sharing in Sew & Tell.
ReplyDeleteThese are all so simple, yet so sweet. Your quilting always compliments and makes your quilts so special!
