I quilted the first one with an edge-to-edge design called "Spring Thing".
Alice requested different color thread on each quilt. Since this one has a green backing, I used "Kiwi" colored thread from Glide.
Here's the second quilt on the longarm bars:
And, all quilted up using the "Harbour Wave" quilting pattern.
The backing on this second quilt is a navy blue. I used "Sky" colored Glide thread.
And the third quilt. I worked on these quilts over several days, this one in the evening.
This quilting is called "Fern Meander":
The backing on this was a pieced combo of three Seahawks fabrics.
This version was done in white Glide thread.
Great job, Alice!!! Your family will love wrapping up in these team spirit quilts.

ReplyDeleteSo hard to say which one I like best! They all look terrific, I think Harbour Wave may be my favorite, but again, a really hard choice.

ReplyDeleteOh wonderful! I love seeing the different designs on the same pattern / fabric. You don't usually get to see that :) I can't decide which one I like best, but it's between Harbour Wave and Fern Meander, both are gorgeous!

Oh my goodness, that is a cute pattern! Love that you quilted each one differently. (I actually have some of that Seattle Seahawks backing fabric! LOL)
