I quilted the first one with an edge-to-edge design called "Spring Thing".

Alice requested different color thread on each quilt. Since this one has a green backing, I used "Kiwi" colored thread from Glide.

Here's the second quilt on the longarm bars:

And, all quilted up using the "Harbour Wave" quilting pattern.

The backing on this second quilt is a navy blue. I used "Sky" colored Glide thread.

And the third quilt. I worked on these quilts over several days, this one in the evening.

Some lucky family members are going to be really happy! Good thing the backs are different, so there's a way to tell them apart. Nice work, Nancy! Where do you get your Glide thread?
ReplyDeleteI really like the Fern Meander! You have such a great repertoire of motifs, Nancy!
ReplyDeleteSo hard to say which one I like best! They all look terrific, I think Harbour Wave may be my favorite, but again, a really hard choice.
ReplyDeleteHow fun seeing all three quilted differently! What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteThere will be three lucky sports fans!! Each of the Seahawk quilts turned out great. Your quilting made them extra special!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a terrific Christmas this will be in that household! Beautiful job on the quilting.
ReplyDeleteOh wonderful! I love seeing the different designs on the same pattern / fabric. You don't usually get to see that :) I can't decide which one I like best, but it's between Harbour Wave and Fern Meander, both are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIt is way too hard to choose a favorite. I can tell you they all look fantastic! Thanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!
ReplyDeleteThese are so fun and I love that each one is quilted differently!
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy,
ReplyDeleteWhat fun quilts for those Seahawks fans! They are each beautiful and fun, yet different and unique as well. I love your choices in quilting. I am sure Alice and her peeps will be so happy, as Alice did a fabulous job herself. ~smile~ Roseanne
Oh my goodness, that is a cute pattern! Love that you quilted each one differently. (I actually have some of that Seattle Seahawks backing fabric! LOL)
