I've started making some of my 52 charity quilts of 2018. Here are numbers 2, 3, 4 and 5. You can find number 1 and the pattern info here. They will be going to Jack's Basket. Check out more about this charity on their Instagram. They're currently in need of quilts.
The quilting on this is "Fascination":
This backing, actually all four of these quilts backings, are Japanese fabrics:
The quilting here is "Vivaldi":
Futon fabric on the back:
The quilting on this one is "Heart String":
More futon fabric on the back:
And this quilting is "Deja Vu":
And more futon fabric for the back:
I have 35 more baby quilts cut out and ready to sew. DD2 coordinated the 4 fat quarters per quilt for me. Which one is your favorite of these four?
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

Great batch of quilts! My favorite is the last one, especially the backing. I'm so glad you alerted me to Jack's Baskets. I mentioned them on my blog and several of my readers shared stories of family/friends who really could have used the support that Jack's Basket provides.
ReplyDeleteYou are going to be done long before the end of the year, keep it up!
ReplyDeleteOh Nancy, you are doing a great job on those baby quilts! Fun that your hubby is choosing the colors too. The quilting, of course, is lovely. You'll have those 35 done soon!
ReplyDeleteI love them all! Great idea for the arrangements of the strips too.
ReplyDeleteI love all of these quilts and why you're making them. This is a great pattern to use for some of the fabrics I have in my stash. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! It's such a beautiful thing, the charity quilts you're making. I don't know which is my favorite, because I love the fabric on Fascination, and I love the feather quilting on Deja Vu!
ReplyDeleteYou are very productive! Congrats on beautiful finishes! Thanks for linking up with TGIFF ;)
ReplyDeleteVery cute quilts and a great cause. Thanks for the link to Jack's Basket.
ReplyDeleteThese are all cute and pretty. Not sure I could pick a favorite. How big are they?
ReplyDeleteYou have been zooming through these. They look wonderful and i think the backings are gorgeous, too!
ReplyDeleteYou are on a roll! The quilting on each is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteEach fabric pull worked out great!! My favorite is the read and turquoise one... because turquoise. :o))
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy,
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous goal for the year!! It is hard to choose but Deja Vu is my favorite. I almost switched when I saw those cute little hearts but the turquoise helped me to stay strong. ~smile~ Roseanne
congrats on your first baby quilt finishes of the year, and yay for such a thoughtful goal! You rock!!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! So cool! My favorite is the pink/red with the hearts quilting! I love the fact that you are quilting them all different too. It gives each quilt their own character <3
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to choose a favorite. Your daughter has a great eye. I like the aqua and coral one, but the combo in Fascination is pretty fascinating! Good for you on your goal of 52!
