🇯🇵 Japanese Style 🇯🇵

My quiltin' cousin, Sue, made this beautiful quilt using Japanese fabrics!

Quilt Info:

Size: 91" X 105"
Quilting: Geisha
Batting: Quilter's Dream Batting, Wool
Thread: Glide--Sky Blue
Interesting Fact: These Japanese fabrics are looking very familiar, as I gave most of them to Sue, when we were living in Japan!

The quilting shows up great on the backing, which is closer to indigo in real life:
What a great way to feature these Japanese fabrics, Sue!

Although this is a pretty large quilt, DH managed to hold it up over the railing by himself!

I loved quilting this for you, Sue!!!
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

  6. I love the pantograph you chose -- very suitable for the Japanese quilt fabrics, as the quilting design reminds me of a sashiko pattern!
