⧉ Double the Fun ⧉

Paula, of Knitting Pipeline Podcast and Video, and her sister, Gayle, made this quilt together for their brother!

Quilt Info:
Pattern: Double the Fun/Magic Square by Missouri Star Quilt Co
Fabrics: Eclectic Elements by Tim Holz
Size: 63" X 88"
Quilting: Modernish 4
Batting: Quilter's Dream Batting, 80/20 Natural
Thread: Glide--Creme
Interesting Fact: This is Paula's second time around making this pattern. See Paula's first Double the Fun quilt here. You can also catch Paula and Gayle talking about making this quilt top on Paula's latest video, starting at minute 28 on YouTube.

I love the look of this mini chevron black & white binding Paula chose:

And isn't this a neat extra-wide backing:

Grace & peace!!! ~Nancy

  3. Oh, I like the pantograph you used here! The slight, modern curves soften the angles in the piecing. BTW: Can you talk a little about the batting you use and why you use it? I'm strictly a Warm & White girl because I think it's good quality for the price (and I buy it by the bolt). But I'm interested in working with something with more of a poly content.
