Another ⚓️Hope ⚓️ Quarantine QAL 2

Quilt Info:
Maker: Nancy @ Grace and Peace Quilting
Pattern: Hope by Gudrun Erla of GE Designs
Size: 38" X 38"
Batting: Quilters Dream Batting--80/20
Thread: Glide--Light Turquoise
Quilting: Diagonal Plaid
Interesting Info: This is my second version of Gudrun's quarantine quilt along event, held on May 3, 2020. You can see my first one here, link. I made both of mine sized for Jack's Basket, where babies with Down syndrome are celebrated with a welcome basket, a quilt, and so much more!

Gudrun said there are hundreds of ways to layout this quilt! I was a bit limited since I was working with only 16 blocks. For reference, the queen size version has 100 blocks! Here are 9 different layouts I came up with:

For quilting, I used one of my new favorite digital designs, Diagonal Plaid:

For backing and binding, I used this fabric from Japan:

This quilt is part of the Hands2Help Comfort Quilt Challenge 2020, and will go to Jack's Basket.

Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

  17. Diagonal plaid is the perfect design for this pattern. Isn't it great how you can take one quilt block and create so many different designs. Thank you again for linking up to Put your foot down.

  18. You've done a great job with your quilts. I do like that design. Sometimes, I wish I could have gotten a machine with software, but then it goes away when I think about the $ involved. =) I'm happy to have what I have, but that design is great!
