Interesting Info: This quilt is to celebrate my niece's 3rd child, a girl named Mary Eleanor, born during the quarantine.
I dug into my 10" squares stash to make this baby quilt. When I have just a bit of fabric left over, I cut it into 10" squares first, then 2 1/2" strips. Here's what I came up with:

I arranged and rearranged the blocks many times!⤵️

This quilting is called "Gingersnap"⤵️

This is my second "Diana" quilt. You can see my first one, a red, white and blue version, here.

This is going in the mail to Mary Eleanor now, with love and prayers!
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

ReplyDeleteThose are such pretty colors, and they make a very pretty quilt! That sounds like a good idea - cutting 10 inch squares and 2.5 inch strips out of your scraps. Those sizes are so useful!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous fabrics you pulled together! What a great quilting pattern too, and I love the fun backing you put together. :-) Thanks for linking up a DrEAMi! project.
