Karen's Popsicle 🍭 Sticks

Quilt Info:
Maker: Karen of Barnabas Ministries
Pattern: Popsicle Sticks by Atkinson Designs
Size: 80" X 96"
Batting: Quilters Dream Batting 80/20 Natural
Thread: Glide--Tar Heel
Quilting: Ba Da Bing
Interesting Info: Karen made this quilt for her 7 year old grandson. It will be a Christmas present, so she's way ahead of the game!

This edge-to-edge design adds great texture! It's called "Ba Da Bing", imitating the sound of a drum roll after a comedian has told a joke.

For backing, Karen used this colorful print called "Smashing Atoms 108"!

Wonderful work, Karen! You're making many fabulous quilts!
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

  8. The quilting design is PERFECT for this quilt -- I love the contrast of linear piecing with curved quilting lines, plus those rays that go out from the quilted swirls echo the backing print. Great job! Do you bind your clients' quilts as well as quilting them? Also curious -- how did you get that little lollipop picture in your blog post title?! You are just FULL of cool tricks!
