🚚Scoop Dig Drive 🚚

Susan was elected by her neighbors to make this quilt for a neighborhood boy who is having his 3rd birthday!!! It will be his "golden birthday"--he will be 3 on the 3rd!
Quilt Info:
Maker: Susan
Pattern: Scoop Dig Drive, from the book Drive Me Crazy by One Sister Books
Batting: Warm & Natural
Thread: Glide--Khaki
Quilting: Chrevrons 1 from Intelligent Quilting
Interesting Info: The pattern calls for stacking three fabrics up, cutting them all at once, then shuffling certain parts, to make 3 identical blocks with each fabric in a different place.
This quilting, Chevrons 1, looks a lot like tire treads!!!⤴️⤵️
This fun flannel back has all kinds of vehicles and driving maps!!! The grey is flannel, also.⤵️
Splendiferous quilt, Susan!!! This is sure to be used and loved for many years!!!

Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

  5. What a fabulous quilt! I love everything about it -- the way the backing print ties in with the pieced top, the way the Chevron quilting design reinforces the sense that the tractors are driving around up and over piles of dirt at the "construction site." I remember when my boys were little, how excited they would get whenever I drove past a construction site. They'd holler "TRACTOR!!!!!!!!!!!" :-)
