"Obsidian" is such a great, gently curving quilting design for quilts with a lot of squares!
Beautiful classic blue and white quilt, Missy!!!

Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

  1. I absolutely adore blue quilts! Just getting back into quilting and looking for some inspiration. This one did the trick! -Andrea

  2. Classic quilt with classic quilting. I love obsidian and it is perfect on Missy’s quilt. Love the fussy borders and framed back...nice additions.

  3. This is a lovely quilt. I am of the opinion that one can never have too much blue fabric in a quilt! The simple patchwork design allows all the blue prints to blend together nicely. And the quilting design you chose complements the composition.

  4. I saw this on IG yesterday, love it! Thanks for providing the free pattern link:)

  5. Love the blues and the quilting is perfect! Have a great week-end!

  6. Missy has been busy again, and this one's a beauty. I like the quilt design, Nancy!

  7. Oh my goodness! Such a lovely quilt! And the quilting - again the icing on the cake! Lovely!

  8. So pretty! those fabrics remind me of those Blue and white plates - maybe called a delft plate?

  9. This is a really lovely quilt. The colours used make it stunning. So much nicer than the tutorial.
