Napping House Quilt QAL 🪡

Beth Ann @CozyColorQuilts has been hosting a 6-week QAL featuring her pattern, Napping House Quilt, with the plan that we donate our finished quilt to Quilts For Kids. I love this pattern, and a QAL is a great way to get around to making a quilt, little by little, week by week!
Everyone quilting along documented their progress on Instagram. Here's a collage of my 6 week progress:
Quilt Info:
Maker: Me!
Pattern: Napping House Quilt from Cozy Color Quilts
Size: 42" x 56"
Batting: Quilters Dream 80/20
Thread: Glide--Cotton Candy
Pantograph: Romance ⤵️ from Mistletoe Quilting Co
I love this new pantograph!!!
Interesting Info: The fabrics are Tula Pink prints, random matching solids and Ballet Slipper Grunge for the background!
For backing I pieced together some pink Japanese yardage I had on hand! ⤵️
Up close: puffer fish on sashiko background, cherry blossoms and maple leaves, and a checkerboard sashiko print! ⤵️
This quilt will be going to the Twin Cities Chapter of Quilts For Kids, where they give quilts to children facing serious illness, trauma, abuse and natural disasters. A LQS, Wildflower Quilt Co. in Lakeville, MN, is a drop-off shop!
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

  13. So pretty front and back and great that this is for donation! I just started using Grunge last year and now I think I need to start stashing it, it's a great blender/background.

  18. Fabulous, as always. I really like the pantograph, and that ballet slipper grunge. The gray modifies the pink enough for me to actually like it! Super job and good place to donate it.
