All the details!
We went with spiderweb quilting, "Spindle", again. ⤵️ Love this purple dot minkee backing!!!
Susan is my panel queen! She finds them on clearance at quilt shops and even thrift stores while traveling.
Quilt Info #2:
Maker: Susan
Pattern: Town Square from Easy Peasy 3-Yard Quilts by Fabric Cafe
Size: 49" x 63"
Batting: Quilter's Dream 100% Cotton Deluxe

This was a kit from the Wisconsin quilt shop hop, featuring the shop hop fabrics.
Very Wisconsin themed motifs, plus the silhouette of the state of Wisconsin! Susan chose polar fleece for the backing of this quilt. This one is for Susan's daughter's boyfriend, so we went with geometric quilting, perfect for a guy quilt!
Quilt Info #3:
Maker: Patty
Size: 41" x 57"
Batting: Quilter's Dream 100% Cotton, White
Thread: Glide--Cotton Candy
This adorable quilt is made from a jelly roll. Don't ask the pattern though--Patty went to the library and checked out a number of jelly roll quilt books and magazines and said she doesn't remember which one the pattern came from. What a great jelly roll quilt!
Patty was glad to find a jelly roll that has a farm theme, as the quilt she made for this little girl's big brother also has a farm theme. She fussy cut some of the strips, like the holsteins below.⤵️
Patty got this adorable tiny floral print for the backing from our local fabric warehouse, SR Harris, where all fabrics are half price!
The hearts and swirls quilting is the perfect girly touch for this sweet granddaughter quilt!!!
Awesome job, ladies!!! Thanks for sharing your quilt inspiration!!! And thank you quilters for stopping by!!!Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

What a cute panel quilt, and oh my that purple dot minkee backing is gorgeous. Isn't that Wisconsin themed fabric great! The little girl quilt is really cute, the cows are so sweet. All the quilts are so beautifully quilted, your joy in your job really shines.
ReplyDeleteI love each and every one of them and couldn't pick a favorite!
ReplyDeleteSuch cute quilts! Love the quilting motifs you used to quilt them. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.

The Halloween quilt is awesome! Susan is definitely good with panels. I really love the purple and orange colors. And you always figure out the best quilting designs for every quilt you're working on, Nancy!
ReplyDeleteI love looking at finished quilts...
ReplyDeleteYou've picked out some great quilting patterns.
I also really like this girl's quilt made from the Jelly Rolls—great colors, aren't they?
Best wishes to you and thank you for sharing.
Hugs from Viola
It's awesome that you are able to give the final touches to the quilts.
ReplyDeleteAll 3 are great quilts and I love the spiderweb quilting motif on Susan's "Frightful Night" quilt.
ReplyDeleteWhat great finishes. . .I can't pick a favorite this time as I like them all too much to choose! I especially liked the heart panto you chose for Patty's quilt!--TerryK@OnGoingProjects
ReplyDeleteThe quilters pieced some lovely tops and your quilting looks great! I like them all but the Halloween panel and purple minky backing is a fun one.
ReplyDeleteLove that Halloween quilt and your spiderweb stitching is just the perfect choice. I've fallen in love with the 3-yard quilts this year too. I have 2 flimsies ready to quilt, and 3 more kitted up to make. They're all so quick and really showcase fun fabrics.
ReplyDeleteAll the quilts are awesome. I am so envious that you can quilt up all those and use minky too. I love the little cross quilt with the Mistletoe quilt design. That gal is near me and I have loved watching her quilting designs grow.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, yummy quilts, great inspiration! I love how your quilting is matching the themes, as always ;) Spider webs add just the perfect amount of scaryness to this lovely panel (I love orange and purple together!). Town Square is beautiful, and the geometric pattern suits it very well. My favorite is Romance, what a cute quilting pattern! Sweet hearts and swirls! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful work and linking up, there are lots of great inspiring quilts here!
ReplyDeleteGreat quilts. I am always inspired by the panels. Both quilters have chosen some lovely fabrics for their quilts. Your quilting is the icing on the cake.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun batch of quilts. All of them really shine esp. the quilting!
ReplyDeleteThese are really great and I recognized that panel and 3YQ design as soon as I saw your thumbnail. I love the idea of searching out those sale panels, it's like getting 2/3s of a top done without having to piece it! Love the new grandaughter JR quilt and oh the quilting! Too cute!!
ReplyDeleteAs always, your quilting is the perfect finishing touch! I absolutely love that hearts and swirls design 😍
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big panel person but wow, I love that one and the piecing around it. And of course the spider web quilting. (I have that design but have yet to use it!)
ReplyDeleteSuper Cute Quilts
ReplyDeleteGreat job, Nancy! Thanks for sharing with us at Monday Musings. Have a great week!
