Star Pop II

Here's my latest baby quilt, using the "Lavish" fabric line:

I bought a half yard bundle of these fabrics back in 2019. Here are the 4 quilts I've made to date from that bundle: Quatro, 99 Charms, Star Pop II and Doll/Mini quilt.

I have been majoring in baby quilts recently. They will be gifts for friends, or I can always donate them to Bundles of Love locally.

Flannel backing--my recent favorite for baby quilts. ⤵️ This quilting design, "Bright Lights", was free for one week to newsletter subscribers of My Creative Stitches. It includes 4-point stars, 5-point stars and 8-point stars, as well as loops.

I do love this simple, fast pattern! The original "Star Pop" pattern is more involved. The designer, Quilty Love, simplified it with the "Star Pop II" pattern.

I had some cut offs from making this Star Pop II quilt and decided to sew them together. They became this mini/doll quilt! I added a couple of matching fabrics to fill in the rows.

Pantograph: Gilded Orange Peel ⤵️ from OESD

This is currently a free digital pantograph, "Gilded Orange Peel" from OESD. I downsized it quite a bit to fit the mini quilt size.

This Tula Pink print became the backing when I noticed how well it matched colors of the Lavish fabric line.⤴️

There are some random 5" squares and 2 1/2" "Lavish" strips leftover. Not sure yet what I'll do with them. We'll see!
