Jane made this bright, educational quilt for a young boy's birthday gift.
On the bars:
"One cat laughing. Two cats sitting down. Three cats eating cupcakes. Four cats dressed as clowns."
"Five cats wearing glasses. Six cats way up high. Seven cats holding pinwheels. Eight cats in the sky."
"Nine cats doing dance."
The quilting is "Modernish 3" and the backing is this yellow print.
Great job, Jane! Love the rhyming cat antics!
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

What a fun quilt, some little boy is gonna love that.
ReplyDeleteThat quilt is going to be loved for years! So cute!
ReplyDeleteLove these cute panels! They look like they were designed to be a soft book, and Jane stitched them up into a quilt instead. That's very smart! Kids quickly outgrow fabric books as being too "babyish" but will love a quilt for years and years.
ReplyDeleteOhmigosh, that quilt is so cute! I love the wonky squares, it really adds whimsy. Your quilting ties it all together!
ReplyDeleteThat is just precious!!
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy,
ReplyDeleteOh how I love this quilt. I think I NEED to make this for my new great-nephew. Counting, cats and dancing - what's not to like?! The backing is perfect, and I love the quilting. ~smile~ Roseanne
