And work on a quilt... This rose quilt is what Kim has been working on, made for her sister who loves birds and is a beekeeper.
The quilting design I used is "Climbing Rose", by Sophie Collier, a local designer and fellow member of Upper Midwest Machine Quilters. She will be teaching a class there from her book, "Around and Around She Goes", on March 10, 2018.
Aren't these roses and rosebuds in the quilting design a beautiful mix with the rose fabrics:
The backing is an extra-wide grey fabric.
This quilt is a generous 100" square.
Kim, beautiful! This quilt is sure to be a welcomed rose garden in the middle of winter for your dear sister!
Grace & peace!!! ~Nancy
