I'm making 52 quilts in 2018 for Jack's Basket, where babies with Down syndrome are celebrated. π
In June I quilted two quilts side-by-side on my longarm. In July I quilted three quilts side-by-side. This month I went for the max and quilted all 4 quilts side-by-side on my longarm:
That means they are all four quilted with the same design, Egg Carton--one of my favorite modern quilting designs.
Each quilt is made from 4 fat quarters, as you can see in this quilt, number 31 for this year (hedgehogs!):
And this month they all have the same backing, this fuchsia print:
Here's quilt number 32:
And the 4 fat quarters:
Quilt number 33:
Here are the 4 fat quarters that make up this quilt. Notice one of them is Lady Slipper fabric, the Minnesota state flower:
And quilt number 34:

4 at once! Bravo!! I'm sure the quilting went very fast with these! You're doing so good to stay on track for your goal!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Laura that you are doing a great job of staying on track with your goal! Sure like that quilt design, and those little prints in each quilt are really fun!
ReplyDeleteThese look like girl quilts.... pink pink pink - next will there be four boy quilts? four in a row is wonderful.....
ReplyDeleteThanks for contributing to such a nice charity. Our son just happens to have DS. I've never heard about this charity. I'll be looking it up. Thanks for the link. LOVE the egg carton design.
ReplyDeleteAnother awesome group! I bet you can make these in your sleep now;)
ReplyDeleteWell done, Nancy! That was using your longarm judiciously!
ReplyDeleteI just love these quilts, the pattern and that you can now quilt them four at a time with the wonderful meandering pattern. Have you run out of fat quarters yet?
ReplyDeleteSo many great fabrics in these, Nancy! Those tiny raindrops are a great combination with the Lady Slippers. Can't grow flowers without rain :)
ReplyDeleteThe quilts all look great. And how smart to add the quilting all at the same time.
ReplyDeleteAnother four bright and lovely quilts for a great cause. I really want a longarm!
ReplyDeleteWhat are the dimensions of one quilt?
ReplyDeleteWow, I've only ever done 2 side-by-side, imagine doing 4! Very impressive, but so efficient isn't it? Now if only there was 4-at-a-time binding!
ReplyDeleteI love these more and more each time I see them and you are doing a great job on keeping up! That quilting design, egg carton, is a gorgeous one. Do you bind by all machine? That sure is a lot of binding!
ReplyDeleteI'm so impressed with how great this pattern looks in every combination! I was given a huge tub of fabric over the weekend (a friend's mom was cleaning out supplies she decided she wasn't going to use) and there are several bundles of 4 fat quarters--I immediately thought of you and this pattern! I particularly like the hedgehogs and the lady slipper fabrics. Great blankets and the recipients are sure to love them.
ReplyDeleteAre you going to aim for 5 next time? All the quilts look great. It's great seeing them in so many different fabric combinations.
ReplyDeleteThese little quilts are all so amazing. Just like you :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!
That is quilting efficiency at its best and such a great feeling to get so much done at one time! Thanks for linking to Finished or Not Friday!
ReplyDeleteAnother set of great quilts. I love that you quilt them at the same time. Well done. Thanks for linking up your finish with Thank Goodness It's Finished Friday.
ReplyDeleteWow! You are so talented with that long arm! Hey! Did I spy more Daydreams? I love your color combinations!
ReplyDeleteI'm so impressed with the amount of quilts you have been cranking out! When you load multiple quilts on the longarm like that, i assume the back is the same for all the quilts? that's pretty neat!
ReplyDeleteThat quilting pattern is definitely a winner. This batch of quilts turned out SEW well!!
ReplyDeleteWhat precious quilts and how neat that you could quilt 4 at one time! Beautiful!
