September Minikins Challenge ✅

Sara at Sew Sweetness is having a different challenge each month with her Minikins patterns. The Minikins are 12 patterns of small bags, with step-by-step videos, that are fun to make, use and give as gifts.

The Minikins challenge for September is the Moto Pouch. I made a size small and a size large:

I started out by quilting my fabrics with Annie's Soft and Stable (yes, there's a chunk cut out of the navy fabric where I fussy cut a different block!):

Here's my size large Moto Pouch. (The acrobat was made by my Japanese friend and is sewn over a plastic clothespin):

And here's my small size Moto Pouch, llama on one side:

And rainbow bird on the other side:

Check out all the Moto Pouches at the link-up, now, and again at the end of the month, here.

  2. It's always fun to see your Minikins. Is there a book with the patterns? I love that little acrobat, but sure glad I didn't have to make him!

  7. I can almost name that fabric line, but now right now! Loved that navy print with the fussy cut missing - too funy.

  9. Awesome pouches! Does a rotary cutter fit in there? Certainly would be a great way to transport it.

  11. Beautiful work! I really like sewing bags, but I've never tried one of Sara's patterns. I think I need to remedy that!
