DrEAMi stands for Drop Everything And Make it, which is what I did one day recently when I made this baby quilt! I made this quilt from start: inspiration and fabric pull, to finish: binding & label, in one day!
Quilt Info:
Size: 37" X 37"
Batting: Quilters Dream Cotton--Select
Thread: Glide--Apricot
Quilting: Baptist Diamonds
Interesting Info: I made this quilt from start to finish in one day! I designed it around the outside fabric pack, which was a 3 1/2" packet of 42 squares that I bought for a song at our quilt show store. That's an odd size for a charm packet, but they were just the right size for this quilt border! The center 9-patch are 10" squares from stash. The inner border and binding are Tula Pink fabrics.
I'm loving this edge-to-edge called "Baptist Diamonds": ⤵️
For backing, I used this strawberry print: ⤵️
A mosaic from Frogtown: ⤵️
This baby quilt is going to Jack's Basket!
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

ReplyDeleteNancy, which computer robotics package did you get for your Freddie? QuiltPath, IntelliQuilter, or something else? How long have you had it, how was the learning curve, would you recommend it to a friend? These E2E designs you're churning out are so beautiful. I mean, you COULD do something like this Baptist Diamonds with rulers if you didn't have a computer, but it definitely would not get finished in a single day! Thanks for linking up with Long Arm Learning!
ReplyDeleteQuilt Path!!!

ReplyDeleteOh wow, a quintessential DrEAMi!! One day, you got bitten bad! It turned out just beautifully. Is it a pantograph or computerized design? It's very effective! Thanks for linking up!
