I made this quilt as part of a six week sew along hosted by Suzy Quilts!!!
Quilt Info:
Maker: Me!!!
Pattern: Holiday Party Quilt from Suzy Quilts
Fabrics: Starflower Christmas from Create Joy Project for Moda
Size: 88" X 108"
Thread: Glide--Linen
Pantograph: Scandi Snowflake ⤵️ from Intelligent Quilting
Interesting Info: I recently read that a quilter should have a Christmas quilt for every bed in the house! We needed another Christmas quilt to live up to the quilter's standard!!!
I fell in love with this new pattern from Suzy Quilts and paired it with this beautiful bundle of fabrics from GE Designs, and it just came together. Suzy's sew along kept me/us on track to finish the top before Thanksgiving!!!
I used the leftover long strips of backing fabric for binding, too! The "Linen" colored thread really stands out on the backing!!! ⤵️
Finished and ready for the Christmas season!!! ⤵️
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

What a beauty, Nancy! So very pretty! Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job Nancy! I need to do Christmas quilts for each bed. I have the fabric, just need to get busy.
ReplyDeleteNow there is a fancy bed all decked out for the Holiday season! I have never had a bed sized Christmas quilt.
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I love the colors and the quilting.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is so pretty! I don't have any Christmas bed quilts, but I do have three wall hangings that I had out every year.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to change out my quilts but my husband is a creature of habit, so no Christmas quilt for our bed. That is a beautiful one and it will be lovely during the season. It doesn't even read Christmas, so you could get away with it for much longer. Love the Scandi Snowflake design too. It is great when you can get the binding out of the backing!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love it.
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous quilt. Lovely to have a different colour combo from these fabrics. It works so well. And beautiful snowflake quilting.
ReplyDeleteYes, a Christmas quilt on each bed sounds just right.
Such an exquisite quilt you have stitched and quilted! All those fabrics together are gorgeous. Especially love the border fabric...so lovely.

So beautiful and festive, Nancy
ReplyDeleteI am way behind on Christmas quilts too! It’s a goal I could achieve! We only have 2 beds, but one is a king! So it would be a large one!
ReplyDeleteGreat quilt. I really like the pattern. I have several Christmas quilts that I pull out for the season. Although, some day I might make a bigger one as we like a lot of overhang on our bed. BTW thanks for the link to the top 10 modern quilt designs. I plan on buying a couple of them. (eventually.)
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful Christmas quilt! The quilting pattern really complements the fabrics and piecing.
