The Rainbow Scrap Challenge color for February is Teal/Aqua! I made two projects!!!
The first is blocks using the pattern "Scrap Happy Rainbow Connection" quilt pattern. I worked through my scrap basket and made 21 blocks!!! Evidently I work with teal/aqua quite a bit!
Here are my January Red blocks mixed in with my February Teal/Aqua blocks!!! I don't know how many quilts I'll make in total. I'm working with everything in my scrap strips basket.
These blocks are 12" unfinished.
My second project is a "Bring the Love" mug rug in teal/aqua scraps:
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

Love your teal projects.
ReplyDeleteLove your teal quilts! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBoth projects are wonderful. The Rainbox Connection blocks will look great either one-color or as a rainbow.
ReplyDeleteI love love your aqua and red laid out together, I think someone should just make one with those two colors! If I had my scraps handy I might have, LOL
ReplyDeleteThose blocks are so cool - and seeing them mixed with red, I love it!!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable Mug Rug!
AWESOME projects in AQUA/TEAL, Nancy!!!
ReplyDeleteYour two projects are beautiful! I love the little hearts in aqua too, what a pretty collection ;))
ReplyDeleteGorgeous use of your scraps, I must follow along to get some inspiration! I have plenty that need used up (and also, many aqua/teal...I use it a lot too).
ReplyDeleteNancy your teals are beautiful. That little mug rug is perfect!
ReplyDeleteWonderful projects! I love the strip ones, and I really love the hearts, too. I have some serious work to do over the next few days!
ReplyDeleteThe teal/aqua looks amazing with the red mixed in. I would not have come up with that combination but I find it very striking. Enjoy your RSC - hope there will be a "good" color in March ;) xo
ReplyDeleteIt must be so satisfying to use up all those beautiful scraps. Lovely blocks and mug rug!

All your projects are pretty, but those little teal hearts steal the show!
ReplyDeleteI love your teal/turquoise/aqua string blocks for the Rainbow Connection quilt! You almost have enough blocks to make a whole quilt just in those colors, which I think would be gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYour string blocks are so pretty, Nancy! I love that pattern done in the rainbow layout. And your heart projects have been really fun to see this month, too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I’m totally loving your blocks. Big fan of teal and aqua myself.

Well I don’t know what happened to my comment but it disappeared so try again. I love your strings blocks and your mug rug is adorable. I’m working with crumbs this year for my main project and strings again, this year for placemats but I never seem to be able to empty the strings baskets!
ReplyDeleteThat’s a great scrap project. You do(did) have a lot of teal/aqua scraps! I really like the red and aqua combo! Will you do a Bring The Love mini every month? I hop so! It’s fantastic!
ReplyDeleteYour blocks and hearts finish are so lovely!! Wow, your aqua/teal scraps are plentiful and fun!

Wow, I love your Rainbow Connection blocks. That's going to be a fabulous quilt. And your heart quilt turned out fabulous.
ReplyDeleteLove your strips. The blocks remind me of my own String-X top. Sweet little mug rug!!!
ReplyDeleteThe version with the teal gradations is beautiful! Lucky you to have so many great scraps to work with.
ReplyDeleteYou have some great RSC projects happening this year. Love them both. Thanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!
