The Rainbow Scrap Challenge (RSC) color for June is Bright & Dark Blue! Here are my blocks:
The pattern is Scrap Happy Rainbow Connection from Amy Smart! It was originally in Love Patchwork & Quilting, Issue 85, if you have that magazine:
My blocks trim to 12" unfinished, 11 1/2" finished. Here are close-ups of a few of my 24 blocks this month:

ReplyDeleteOh, what fun! And it looks like you will have several quilts full of things to make anyone smile. And you used scraps. What could be better?
ReplyDeleteSo much fun to wander through your fabric collection. Amazing how scraps blend versus fight each other when colors act as unifiers.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous array of colorful blocks! I can’t wait to see all the quilts come together!
ReplyDeleteYou have made an amazing number of blocks. These blues are so fabulous - I could look at the different fabrics all day long. Can't wait to see your finished quilt or quilts!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blue fabrics you have to play with. Your blocks are going to make some amazing quilts.
ReplyDeleteDon't all those colours look great together, well done!

ReplyDeleteI am still in love with your chosen RSC block. It looks awesome every time ;) And a big WOW to 2.5 quilts already at the half year mark! xo
ReplyDeleteYour blue blocks are gorgeous in all those different blue hues and patterns. The finished quilt is going to be a visual feast.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful collection of BLUE scraps, Nancy!! They really changed the look of the layout, didn't they?
ReplyDeleteOh, you're putting together such pretty blocks for this challenge! Obviously you have a lot of blue scraps, and your blocks are lovely. I could NEVER come up with enough blue scraps to participate in this challenge. Blue, purple, and red are colors I seldom use in quilts, so they don't appear much in my stash. But good for you! Your quilt blocks are wonderful and will be fantastic when they're all together.
ReplyDeleteWow. . . 120 blocks what an impressive amount! I love how they work together in the arrangement you shared. It is fun to see how additional colors add even more interest to the design! Way to go! TerryK
ReplyDeleteYou have some lovely blue scraps! It will be fun to see how you organize all these blocks at the end of the year. They are so colorful! Thanks for sharing with Oh scrap!
ReplyDeleteGreat job. I love your blocks.
ReplyDeleteButterflies, paisley, feathers -- you've got a wonderful collection of dark and bright blue fabrics. I LOVE IT! That's a very cool pattern.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! What a great way to use up scraps. Pinning this for next year, maybe?
