4 Panel Quilts ㈣

Susan has done it again, with four new panel quilts!!!
Quilt Info #1:
Maker: Susan
Size: 56" x 71"
Batting: Warm & Natural
Thread: Glide--Lead Grey
Pantograph: Chevron 1⤵️ from Intelligent Quilting
This quilting looks like tire treads!!! ⤴️⤵️
The backing is this sumptuous flannel! ⤵️ A perfect match--front & back!!!
If you look carefully in the background woods you'll see 4 deer bedded down! ⤵️
Quilt Info #2:
Maker: Susan
Size: 39" x 59"
Batting: Warm & Natural
Thread: Glide--Tar Heel
Pantograph: Obsidian ⤵️ from Urban Elementz
Interesting Info: Susan is a water skier so this is her favorite part of this panel!!! ⤵️
Fisherman ⤵️
Swimmers and canoes ⤵️
Campgrounds and eagles ⤵️
It really doesn't matter what color bobbin thread you use with a minkee back, as it sinks deep in the pile and doesn't show. I used Tar Heel blue in the bobbin here, but you'd never know it!⤵️
Quilt Info #3:
Maker: Susan
Size: 49" x 68"
Batting: Warm & Natural
Thread: Glide--Light Grey
Pantograph: Musical Meander ⤵️ from Pro-Stitcher
Beautiful harp!!!⤵️
Interesting Info: I'm sure there are many musicians that would love a quilt like this!!! Top half of the panel. ⤵️
And the bottom half. ⤵️
Susan wanted music notes for quilting, which shows up great on her minkee backing, although it is in reverse on the back. ⤵️
Some very pretty framing and bordering on this subtle panel quilt!!!
Quilt Info #4:
Maker: Susan
Size: 69" x 57"
Batting: Warm & Natural
Thread: Glide--Lead Grey
Pantograph: Malachite ⤵️ from Urban Elementz
Close-up of panel:
Old tractor ⤴️
"Enter at your own risk"!?! ⤴️
Great job getting so many quilts done, Susan!!!

Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

  2. Susan is a master with those panels! I especially love the music one with the piano keys. And how wonderful is that to look out your back door and see the deer?! Looks like there's lots of snow where you are...

  3. Great show on using panels. All of them look great. I particularly liked the Chevron 1 pattern. And I used Malachite on one of my daughter's quilt. I hadn’t used it in ages and was extremely pleased with how it came out. But I forgot to take a picture before I gave it back to her. Bummer!

  9. It is great to see how each of these panels has been used. They are all wonderful finishes. And of course your quilting just tops them off perfectly.
Thanks for pointing out the deer, too. I would have totally missed them.

  11. Such fun, whimsical and lovely quilts. Your quilting brings such lovely pattern and texture to the quilts. The texture in the minky backing is dreamy. How sweet to have deer nearby watching you.
