❖ A Miracle Quilt & A Memory Quilt ❖

Missy made this fun quilt for her granddaughter, who loves horses and sunflowers!!! Read on to hear about the miracle of this quilt!
Quilt Info:
Maker: Missy
Size: 86" x 86"
Batting: Quilters Dream Batting 100% White Cotton
Thread: Glide--White
Pantograph: Simply Sunflowers ⤵️ from Intelligent Quilting
Love these sunflowers on sunflowers!!!⤴️⤵️
Interesting Info: Missy mailed this quilt to me using USPS with tracking. The next day I received notice that it would be delivered, which is unusually fast--it usually takes 3 days between our locations. When it didn't arrived, I checked the tracking. It said it was delivered and signed for by an individual in Missy's city!?!

Missy checked with the post office the next day. They said it might have gotten stuck to another package, just sit tight and it might show up. At this point, we started to pray!

Well, you can imagine how happy I was to see the package delivered a couple days later, only one day late!!!
Horses, and some sunflowers, too, on the back!⤵️
Perfectly themed quilt for your granddaughter, Missy! A wonderful gift of love!!!

And a memory quilt:
Quilt Info:
Maker: Susan
Size: 51" x 29"
Batting: Warm & Natural
Thread: Glide--Light Tan
Pantograph: Musical Meander ⤵️ from Pro-Stitcher
This music pantograph has such a great variety of notes and musical symbols!!!⤴️⤵️
Susan used muslin for the back. ⤵️ (The music notes show up in reverse on the back.)
Interesting Info: Susan made these guitars in memory of a musician. She's planning on cutting the 4 guitars apart and gifting them to 4 people close to the young man.
Some very thoughtful quilt gifts, Susan and Missy!!!

Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

  2. Both quilts are beautiful. I love these sunflowers and so glad the package arrived only a day late. It is gut-wrenching when something like that happens. A few years ago our post office building caught on fire shortly after I dropped off quilts for the Hands 2 Help charity drive! The guitars will be lovely and fun that they were made and quilted together and then they will be separated and given to those who loved this musician. It kind of adds another layer of meaning to the gift.

  7. Oh, that is a miracle! I think we've all had experience with the USPS losing or misplacing our items - so frustrating. Your quilting design is perfect for that pretty quilt, Nancy!
