7 More Minis, 25 Minis Total!!!🇯🇵

These are the last of my mini quilts for now! I managed to squeeze all 7 of these minis onto a 1 yard cut of backing--it was a juggling trick!
Quilt Info #1:
Size: 12" x 15"
Panel: Songbook by Fancy That Design House
Thread: Glide--Linen
Pantograph: Noodle Doodle ⤵️ from Sew Shabby Quilting
Quilt Info #2:
Size: 7" x 8"
Panel: Songbook by Fancy That Design House
Thread: Glide--Linen
Pantograph: Obsidian ⤵️ from Urban Elementz
Quilt Info #3:
Pattern: Wedding Chapel from Quiltfabrication
Size: 12" x 12"
Thread: Glide--Linen
Pantograph: Baptist Fan ⤵️ from Three Sisters Fabric
I won this pattern from Susan's blog last year at her wedding anniversary! I did change the heart window into a round stained glass window. Baptist fan seemed like the natural choice for quilting this!!

Size: 8" x 8"
Thread: Glide--Cotton Candy
Pantograph: Watermelon Slices ⤵️ from The Quilting Mill
Gracey of Burlap and Blossom Patterns sends out a free pattern every month when you sign up for her newsletter! This is one of the free patterns she sent out this summer.
Quilt Info #5:
Pattern: Scrappy Acorn Block from The Patchsmith
Size: 10" x 10"
Thread: Glide--Putty
Pantograph: Windy Oak ⤵️ from Sew Shabby Quilting
Another free block pattern. These scrappy squares are cut at 1 1/2".
Quilt Info #6:

Size: 21" x 8"
Thread: Glide--Linen
Pantograph: Abundance ⤵️ from Sew Shabby Quilting
Foundation paper pieced.
These are the first six!⤵️
Quilt Info #7:
Pattern: Mango Garden Quilt from Tilda's World
Size: 12" x 21"
Thread: Glide--Thyme
Pantograph: New Growth 2 ⤵️ from My Creative Stitches
This Tilda pattern is free, as are all of Tilda's patterns. I made the parrots half size--the original size for one is 13" x 40". My two parrots together, with border, finish at 12" x 21".
This quilt is a gift for the director of JELA, Kaoru-san. I made these as much like her two parrots as I could. You can see the antics of her parrots on her Instagram page, caorussimow.
I'll be shipping 25 mini quilts out today. Their final destination is Japan, but I'm shipping them to an address in the US, where someone will be carrying them back to Tokyo in their suitcase. International postage is so expensive!
Here are all 25 quilts that will be going to our church mission office, JELA, for their yearly event and fundraiser on September 23rd, to be used for their work with refugees in Japan and other countries.

Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

  1. What lucky little quilts to be quilted so masterfully by you. Each one is just exquisite. I really love the little church and now have the pattern in my cart (I'll do my quilting as "Methodist" fan - LOL!) Also love the Amazing Grace and the little acorn. Beautiful work, Nancy!

  19. Well bummer... I thought I'd commented on Monday. I know I went off to look at the free acorn pattern and then checked out one of the quilting patterns.... and I bet I never came back to tell you how much I liked all your minis. Great job. I hope they bring a goodly amount of money for the charity.
