Four✦Quilts

Here are 4 quilts made by my family and friends!!!

Pattern: Koby by GE Designs
Size: 86" x 90"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton Request
Thread: Glide--Tabriz Orchid
Pantograph: Ginger Snap ⤵️ from Urban Elementz
Ginger Snap quilting adds curved lines to complement the rectangular blocks!!!⤴️⤵️
Sue made this as a gift for her newlywed nephew and his bride, whose favorite color is purple!
The minkee back makes this quilt perfectly snuggly! Wonderful wedding gift, Sue!!!

Maker: Susan

Size: 59" x 73"
Batting: Warm & Natural
Thread: Glide--Thyme

These fabrics are part of the Quilt Minnesota Shop Hop fabrics from 2020. This year's Quilt Minnesota Shop Hop runs from July 26th through August 17th! The exclusive fabrics are a Paul Bunyan/lake theme this year.
Susan pieced together flannel for backing. She serged the edges and prewashed the flannel to get past any shrinkage, which also made it super soft and fluffy!
This will make a cute cabin quilt!!!!

This is one of Bonnie's quilts from the GE Virtual Retreat earlier this year.

Super cute, Bonnie! Be watching for Bonnie's second retreat quilt, made from the same fabrics.
Quilt Info #4:
Maker: Kyle
Pattern: Dolley's Garden by Bunny Hill Designs
Size: 68" x 85"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton
Thread: Glide--Tabriz Orchid
Pantograph: Canna Leaves & Curls 2 ⤵️ from Urban Elementz
Kyle went looking at pantographs on the Urban Elementz website and fell in love with this panto, "Canna Leaves & Curls 2"! I have all my pantographs listed on my Pinterest page, here, nearly 300. But I do take suggestions of pantos I don't have, and Urban Elementz is one site to look at. Just know they have 5,000+ pantos there! It can be overwhelming!
Lilac backing!!!⤵️
This quilt has a cute story: Kyle let her granddaughter pick out any quilts she wanted from her finished stack of quilts. Then her granddaughter saw this quilt in the stack of unquilted quilts and loved it!!! What's a grandma to do but get it quilted and bound for the next visit!!! I'm sure her granddaughter, who by the way is 3 years old, will be thrilled!!!

  15. Nancy, beautiful work on all of these as usual! My heart skipped a beat when I read "Paul Bunyan themed fabric." Please oh please, can you help me get some of that? Like is there a local quilt shop you could give me the number to order by phone even if they aren't online? I remember road my parents taking us on road trips in Minnesota and there was someplace we stopped along the way with giant statues of Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox. I'd love to make something for my mom or for my sister with that fabric!
