Here are 4 quilts made by 3 stellar quilters!!!
Maker: Karen
Size: 54" x 64"
Batting: Quilters Dream 80/20
Thread: Glide--Cream
Pantograph: QOV3 ⤵️ from TK Quilting & Design
Karen made this Quilts of Valor quilt for a Vietnam veteran at church. I'm sure he will appreciate such a patriotic quilt and the honor that comes with it!
Quilt Info #2:
Maker: Lynn
Pattern: Koby from GE Designs
Size: 58" x 80"
Batting: Quilters Dream 80/20
Thread: Glide--Graphite
Pantograph: Alouette ⤵️ from Urban Elementz
Lynn made this quilt for her niece, who was especially taken by the blue and white bird print, in the upper right corner below.⤵️
Her niece also requested swirly, curly quilting! We decided on Alouette.Quilt Info #3:
Maker: Lynn
Pattern: Koby from GE Designs
Size: 59" x 80"
Batting: Quilters Dream 80/20
Thread: Glide--Graphite
This quilt is the fraternal twin to the one above! After cutting up all her fabrics for the first quilt, Lynn realized she had enough cut out for two, after adding in some more fabrics to her leftover cuts! This one is going to a friend!
Lynn let me pick the quilting for this quilt. With that cute bird print being pivotal, I chose SuzyQuilts Boho Birds for the quilting! It shows up so good on this strip of blue Grunge on the back.⤵️Lynn has made more than a dozen Koby quilts now! It's her go-to quilt pattern!
Quilt Info #4:
Maker: Ann
Pattern: Joyful Stars by Cotton and Joy
Size: 50" x 50"
Batting: Quilters Dream 80/20 White
Thread: Glide--Light Turquoise
Ann and her sister picked out the pantograph together, Square Reflections, to add texture. Ann pieced the back and matched the print so well that I'm sure neither you nor I can see that seam below!!! And I know I had it within the camera shot!⤵️
Such a classic baby quilt with a modern flair!!! I'm sure she will be thrilled with it!
Thank you, quilters, readers and friends!!!
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

I love quilts with stars and the blue and yellow combination, too! These are all beauties. Your quilting always enhances what your clients have sewn up, too, Nancy!
ReplyDeleteAll of these quilts are beautiful. I noticed that they were all gifts to others. What a blessing these quilters are! Your quilting is lovely as always and looks excellent.
ReplyDeleteWell done to all!
These are stellar quilts ! And the quilting is pretty stellar too! Beautiful job by all of the quilters and to you , Nancy. Your always choose the prettiest quilting designs for each quilt.
ReplyDeleteKaren's quilt is so striking! Ann's baby quilt reminds me of a Caribbean ocean. And Lynn sure rocks those Koby quilts!
ReplyDeleteA lovely collection of quilts. Fun designs and I always enjoy seeing which pantographs you use. I especially enjoyed the Kobi quilts.
ReplyDeleteFun to see these great quilts. Love the RWB and the free panto (thanks for the tip). I also love Boho Birds and Square Reflections (I have one like that). I often keep a list of great ones, and the Boho Birds is for sure going on it. Love that Lynn had two very different quilting styles on the two quilts - that is always fun to see. The teal stars are really pretty - I imagine that panto took some time to quilt out!
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for linking to TGIFF!
DeleteAs always, such lovely quilts and quilting! I love it when one project can generate enough leftovers for a second one!! Will be going to my MIL's soon and she has a longarm now. Will have to see if she can download that QOV stitch pattern into her Pro Stitcher tablet. If so, I may be able to get a few QOV tops stitched up!
ReplyDeleteLynn may use the same Koby pattern, but you find a new quilting motif for each iteration. Love that simple, free pantograph for the QOV quilt.
ReplyDeleteI love to see what you and your clients choose for quilting, and especially how the colors of thread you use look on the dark and light fabrics. That’s always a challenge for me, so lots of examples help.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilts.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilts! I love this swirly, curly quilting, Alouette, too, and the look of the Boho Birds. These four quilts are gorgeous, well done quilting them! Thank you for sharing your pretty work.
ReplyDeleteAs always, your quilting is stellar, and make these quilts shine.
ReplyDeleteAll the quilts and your choice of quilting are wonderful. That QOV is stunning!--TerryK@OnGoingProjects
