It's adorable! I have a little Grand boy that would love that quilt. He is into anything with wheels. That cross hatch looks amazing. I have not tried flannel for backing - it looks really good in the photos.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a fun quilt! Your quilting is perfect for it, too. I can just imagine a little person driving their cars and trucks around on those "roads!"
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh – what a cool quilt! Perfect fabric for the theme! Someone mentioned a new book, 5 Yard Quilts. Your post reminded me to look into that. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYour quilting gave it some nice dimension.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun quilt and crosshatch is perfect!
ReplyDeleteIt’s an amazing quilt! And the crosshatch is just the perfect finishing touch.
ReplyDeleteThree yard quits are a great way to use feature fabric. This is a pattern I have not tried. I love it. Fun fabric and a great quilting design. Kudos to you and Susan.
ReplyDeleteCute quilt! I'm sure her grandson is going to adore it. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.

Fun truck quilt ;) The Crosshatch quilting design is matching the theme beautifully!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing and linking up!
Tire treads - genius! I can imagine the little boy snuggling under the quilt, thumb in mouth, clutching a small truck in the other and running it along the bed as he drifts off for a nap.
ReplyDeleteThese quilts are so much fun for children This one is great and will be lots of fun.
