RSC 🩷 April--Part 2

I made 5 more Rainbow Scrap Challenge baby quilts for April 🩷:
My Quilt Info #1:
Pattern: Honey Bouquet from Villa Rosa Designs
Size: 36" x 45"
Batting: Quilters Dream Cotton
Thread: Glide--Blush
Pantograph: Barn Star Flower ⤵️ from Candied Cotton Quilts
This is a new-to-me pantograph that I recently used on Ann's Sunnyside quilt.
I love the star-in-a-star look of this pantograph!
My recent fav for baby quilt backing, flannel.
My Quilt Info #2:
Pattern: 99 Charms
Size: 41" x 50"
Batting: Quilters Dream Cotton
Thread: Glide--Blush
Pantograph: Macaron ⤵️ from Sew Shabby Pantos
After making two 99 Charms quilts earlier this month, I had a few more pink charm squares and put together one more 99 Charms quilt for April.
Love this Macaron quilting!
More flannel backing. And check out the ombre Tula Pink binding.
My Quilt Info #3:
Pattern: Honey Bouquet from Villa Rosa Designs
Size: 36" x 45"
Batting: Quilters Dream Cotton
Thread: Glide--Blush
Pantograph: Twinkle Toes ⤵️ from Karlee Porter
In her recent newsletter, Karlee Porter let us each pick one pantograph from her website for free! She has 970 edge-to-edge pantographs so that was not an easy decision!
I picked this pantograph, "Twinkle Toes" which is on page 2 of her "Sort by popularity" list.
More flannel backing and more TP ombre binding.
My Quilt Info #4:
Pattern: Honey Bouquet from Villa Rosa Designs
Size: 36" x 45"
Batting: Quilters Dream Cotton
Thread: Glide--Pink
Pantograph: Sakura Season 1 ⤵️ from OESD
OESD had an introductory price for 6 new "Sakura Season" digital quilting designs. Maybe you know this--"sakura" is the Japanese word for "cherry blossom".
Having lived in Japan for 24 years, I love everything Japanese, especially when it relates to quilting. I picked this pantograph, "Sakura Season 1" from among the 6. I think it is adorable, especially on a pink quilt!
More flannel backing. I am running low on flannel and am having to piece my backings from this quilt on.
My Quilt Info #5:
Pattern: Honey Bouquet from Villa Rosa Designs
Size: 36" x 45"
Batting: Quilters Dream Cotton
Thread: Glide--Pink
Pantograph: Sakura Season 1 ⤵️ from OESD
"Sakura Season 1" is so cute, I had to use it again. Besides, it's perfect on a pink baby quilt!
I follow Bonnie Hunter's scrap quilt guideline--use up your older scraps, but add in enough new prints to freshen it up!
I pieced together some Jeep flannel for the back of this quilt. I wonder if the recipient will ever recognize that detail.
These will all be going to Bundles of Love. They pack and gift 200+ bundles per month, so my quilts are a small drop in the bucket.
My 99 Charms quilt count for 2026:

January--💙💙💙
February--💚💚
March--❤️❤️
April--🩷🩷🩷

And my Honey Bouquet baby quilt count is at 17 for 2026.

  1. It's amazing how many scrappy quilts you produce! And they are all so attractive. I think Bonnie's advice is really smart. I was going to ask you how you stay supplied with flannel, but lo and behold you are getting short! Love the quilting, as always. :)

  10. Five new baby quilts is a great accomplishment! Has a May color been chosen yet? I still need to get some pinks finished. You have a great stash of pink fabric! I appreciate how you say which pantograph design you used on each. I always see something I like that I don’t have in my collection (yet). Have a great weekend!

  17. Again, an awesome grouping of quilts. You have done amazing work this year, and so many great charity quilts. I am still trying to figure out which Karlee Porter design I want. I love the hint about adding some fresh fabrics in from BH and that ombre binding is a hit! Flannels are really fun for backings, and so cozy for the little one.

  18. So, I just have to ask -- are you staying up all night quilting and piecing? You have so many beautiful quilts to share. I enjoy stopping by your blog to see what you've done recently. I've purchased Honey Bouquet but haven't used it yet. Your inspiration should help me when I finally cut some blocks for it.
