That flower big bed quilt is gorgeous. Such a good idea for the 2 quilts for each grandchild! What a pretty table runner, it does look perfect for a cabin (which sounds good to me right now!) I like those blocks of color. The deer quilt is beautiful. The panel looks very similar to one I used in a quilt for my deer-hunting nephew. So she used the Villa Rosa pattern top and bottom? I wish I had found that backing for the one I made! As usual, your quilting is spectacular!

ReplyDeleteMy friend Betty does the same—makes a small baby quilt and a matching “big bed” quilt for each grandchild. It’s a cute idea! I am going to order that antlers pattern. I love the way it looks on the deer quilt, and hunting season is coming up!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice idea to make coordinating quilts. I've not heard of anyone doing that, but it makes complete sense, especially when it comes to having access to the same fabrics at a later time when the child is bigger/older. You continue to do beautiful quilting. Your customers are certainly blessed by your skills. And I enjoy seeing how busy you're keeping yourself.

Oh, I love the idea of a small quilt and a large quilt for the same child. That rose pattern is lovely and the quilting perfect. Love Bonnie's tablerunner - a perfect gift for a friend with a cabin. Malachite is always such a fun pattern to use. The deer is gorgeous and so fun that she found the perfect backing....and of course the deer antler quilting is just right!
