Patchwork Door Bow #2 🎀

Because you can't make just one!!!
My Quilt Info:
Pattern: Patchwork Quilted Bow by Brooklyn Dawn Quilt Co.
Fabrics: Vintage Holiday from Bonnie and Camille
Batting: Soft and Stable
Thread: Glide--Mango
Pantograph: Hills and Valleys 1 ⤵️ from My Creative Stitches
I had a smattering of leftover grid fusible interfacing from making my Autumn Bow. I thought it wasn't enough to make another bow until I watched the following video--she shows how to piece your leftover bits together. Suddenly I had just enough to make another bow!
At 5:22 she shows how to piece together your scrap gridded interfacing. ⤴️ Her method involves a glue stick. She is not using the same pattern I used, but I found her grid interfacing piecing explanation helpful.
My pieced interfacing. ⤴️ I had a charm pack that I cut into 2 1/2" squares this time. It takes a few extra charm squares, as well.
I modified the bow seam this time by butting the two edges together and zigzagging them three times. The pattern says to sew the two edges together with a 1/4" seam allowance and press the seam open, but that gets very thick!!!
Here's what the back looks like, just in case you're wondering! ⤴️ The facing doesn't show since it's up against the door. Once again I used a ponytail twister for the hanging loop!
Tada!!! Christmas ready!🎄
