Winter Panel

When Lynn and her friend stopped at a quilt shop, her friend fell in love with this panel. It reminded her of her childhood home growing up in the midwest on a Christmas tree farm! Lynn bought the panel and then was challenged with how to turn a horizontal panel into a long, rectangular quilt.
Quilt Info #1:
Maker: Lynn
Size: 61" x 71"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton
Thread: Glide--Linen
Pantograph: Winter Tempest 2 ⤵️ from My Creative Stitches
For quilting, we went with the classic "Winter Tempest 2", which covers a winter quilt with snowflakes, holly leaves and berries and swirling wind.
I love how a snowflake landed on the red barn! ⤵️ That barn quilt is too cute!!! And we all love cardinals against a snowy backdrop.
Red flannel for the backing, in a barn wood print, finishes the back off perfectly!
Lynn came up with the idea of piano keys in green blender fabrics, with a pine cone border, to make this into a longer quilt!
Wonderful finish and gift, Lynn!!! You might need to make another for yourself!

Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy
