I have been majoring in baby quilts this year, which are fast and fun to make, and a joy to gift! Here are five I've finished recently.
Size: 42" x 54"
Batting: Quilters Dream 80/20
Thread: Glide--Tar Heel
This backing is from IKEA--Nattäager--Jungle, $19.99.
There are 2 of each of these squares which makes it a matching game. And because it's 63 squares total, there's one that is a single. I don't remember which one that is though!?! ⤵️
My Quilt Info #2:
Size: 42" x 54"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton, White
Thread: Glide--Linen
Here are some close-ups...
Some of these prints came from my collection and some came from the my church quilt group fabric collection.
I used an IKEA duvet cover for backing again. There's enough of this print to back 4 baby quilts, so you've seen it before and you'll see it again. ⤵️
There are no duplicates in this I-Spy quilt.
My Quilt Info #3:
Size: 41" x 50"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton Request
Thread: Glide--Apricot Blush
Orange was the Rainbow Scrap Challenge color for May, but I came up with a few more since then! That's the thing about scraps--there's always more showing up.
Another IKEA duvet cover. ⤵️
My Quilt Info #4:
Pattern: Crazy Eights by Bits N Pieces
Size: 38" x 46"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton Request
Thread: Glide--Blush
I bought this cute bundle on sale on a recent road trip.
I used a pattern that I've had for awhile called "Crazy Eights". It calls for 8 fat quarters.Flannel backing and diagonal stripe binding. ⤵️
There were some pretty small pieces in this quilt! I do like how it turned out, so soft and sweet!
My Quilt Info #5:
Size: 42" x 54"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton Request
Thread: Glide--Light Turquoise
Pantograph: Botanics 2 from Totally Quilted
If you know what this quilting represents, let me know! It's called "Botanics 2", which seems to mean "related to plants". But it looks more like polished stones turned into beads to me. What do you think? The penguins are back, from IKEA! ⤵️
You can't make just one I-Spy quilt, because when you cut a strip off the fabric, you get 6 squares!
Here are the latest five again! ⤵️ Thanks for hanging in there with me!!!
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy
