Patchwork Door Bow πŸŽ€

Have you noticed the giant patchwork bow trend? My sister and I jumped right in recently and spent an afternoon together starting our bows. I decided to make mine autumn, since I don't have an autumn wreath for the front door.
My Quilt Info:
Pattern: Patchwork Quilted Bow by Brooklyn Dawn Quilt Co.
Batting: Soft and Stable
Thread: Glide--Apricot Blush
Pantograph: Crosshatch (renamed Abacus) from Urban Elementz
The first step is to assemble two pieces of patchwork, using 2 1/2" fusible grid interfacing. Next they need to be quilted with Soft & Stable. I used my longarm for quilting, which is a little bit tricky, as Soft & Stable is a thick foam batting. But overall I would say it speeded up the process.
Brooklyn Dawn Quilt Co. made a video on how to make her Patchwork Quilted Bow on YouTube. She left off the measurement details so you still need the pattern, as it should be. We found the video very helpful!!!
I was able to finish mine the next day, which is a good thing as we are deep in the autumn season here! The finished size is 16" across the bow, by 25" length. The hanger loop is a ponytail twister!
