🎄 It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas ❄️

We've been having some early snow here in Minnesota. Snow + quilting a Christmas quilt makes one start to feel like Christmas!

Jane bought this beautiful Christmas quilt kit at a quilt shop up north.

There is a lot of gold accent on these fabrics, so I quilted it with gold-colored thread. Isn't this center fabric gorgeous?!

The quilting is called "Just Curls" and mimics the swirls in that center fabric:

The quilting shows up great on the black extra-wide backing!
Beautiful quilt, Jane! This will get a lot of use in the days ahead.
Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy

  4. I thought it was a little wall hanging until I saw it on your frame! I love those fabrics with a bit of metallic to give it sparkle.

  5. Gosh, that is such pretty fabric with the gold accents! Love the Swirls motif, too. It has the same overall shape as feathers but with fewer opportunities for me to make blobby shapes. I'll put this one in my "to try" folder :)

  9. It's the perfect design for that lovely quilt. The holidays are right around the corner! I'm just not ready for snow yet. It was 77 here today - I was in shorts and flip flops. But it won't last. In a couple days the temps will drop down to normal. I just hope the snow doesn't show up for a while. :)

  11. Hi Nancy,
I am now humming a certain Christmas song now . . . I wonder where that came from?! Hmm, could it be the title of your post?!! Wow, really lovely quilt. I would be thrilled with how this turned out, as I am sure Jane will be when she sees it! ~smile~ Roseanne
