Mary brought me two quilt tops to be longarmed. This first is a super cute Christmas table runner. I love how the trees in the middle rows share trunks!
Mary's second quilt is this jelly roll pattern by Zen Chic, "Jelly Bellies For You".
I quilted this pattern once before for Quilter Bonnie. I hadn't remembered that we chose the quilting, "Bossa Nova", for her quilt, too! You can find Quilter Bonnie's quilt here.
Minkee on the back is always soft and luxurious, not to mention a great way to really see the quilting:
And the quilted top!
You're ahead of the game for Christmas, Mary, with that cute table runner. And the throw quilt will be super snuggly and warm!
Grace & peace!!! ~Nancy

That tree runner really caught my eye-pattern name?
ReplyDeleteVicki, that is a Sandy Gervais, Pieces From My Heart website, table runner pattern called "Glad Tidings" http://www.piecesfrommyheart.net/Glad-Tidings_p_686.html
DeleteI'm so tempted to try some Minkee on the back of a quilt. The quilting looks amazing on it! Such nice pieces, I love the blue Jelly Bellies :)
ReplyDeleteBoth are lovely. The trees look great in the runner. And I do love the minkee on the back of the second one.
ReplyDeleteThe Christmas tree runner is really fun! I do like how the middle trees share a stem.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Aren't all-overs just so much fun! And you used Minky too!
ReplyDeleteIt's just all how you look at it, isn't it? I love thinking 'ahead of the game'! Minkee is my favorite for backings too, though, and I doubt I would wait until next fall to put that pretty quilt into use. Bind and use! I think Minkee has a tendency to stay a little cool to the touch so that quilt is great anytime. You do a beautiful job on your customer quilts.
