Charity Quilts 14, 15, 16 & 17 of 52

How sweet is this little girl! I'm making 52 quilts in 2018 for Jack's Basket, where babies with Down syndrome are celebrated. This photo featuring Hannah, with my quilt number 6 as backdrop, is from their Instagram feed on March 31.

In April I worked on quilts 14, 15, 16 and 17:

Quilt number 14 is quilted with Windy Meander:

Quilt 15 is quilted with Raindrops, a free edge-to-edge design available from Urban Elementz:

Quilt 16 is quilted with Parchment:

Quilt 17 is quilted with Abracadabra:

The quilt pattern I'm using is "Simple Gifts" from the mini book, Fat Quarter Love, by Modern Quilt Studio.
Grace & peace!!! ~Nancy

  3. I look forward to see which fabrics you will use each month on these! You will soon have to shop for more fabric with all that you are using up:)

  12. 52 quilts in a year. That is a huge commitment. You have a beautiful heart and a generous spirit. Love them all!!!

  13. Great job! I still have not made that pattern, though I really should "get on the stick" as my momma used to say! Someday you may have a visitor in your store, that says her SIL sent her. It might be my SIL. Her boys live in Eagan and Eden Prairie, so she visits your area a lot. She is a quilter/crafter/baker, so maybe you will meet her.

  15. What a great idea. I thought 52 quilts (one a week) was insane, but seeing that you're using the same pattern, it must go much quicker. Thanks for linking up with TGIFF.
