My dear sister, Quilter Bonnie, made this beautiful jelly roll quilt top! Aren't the colors gorgeous?! This jelly roll was hand picked from stock and cut at Quilt Cove, the quilt shop where I work. It's a variety of fabric lines.
The colors remind me of these pastel mint patties:
Such a fun jelly roll pattern, too, called Riptide from the book, Just Your Style by Gudrun Erla. Here's the block:
The quilting is "Cinnamon". For the backing she used this extra-wide teal fabric with a rose pattern.
This will be an appreciation gift to her son's teacher at the end of the school year.
Great job, Quilter Bonnie! Cute fabrics, cute design! This will make a very cheerful, happy, cuddly gift!
Grace & peace!!! ~Nancy

ReplyDeleteHi Nancy,
ReplyDeleteWow - this is a beautiful quilt! Quilter Bonnie did a fabulous job, and I especially love the quilting pattern you chose to compliment it. The fabrics play together so nicely - someone has a good eye for picking out separates that come together well. Maybe you need to make your own fabric line putting colors together. ~smile~ Roseanne
