Bonnie's 🌺 Wallflower 🌺

If you're thinking deja vu, you're right! My sister, Quilter Bonnie, suggested a sew along using this new pattern and we ended up using the same fabrics, as well! Mine is here
We considered different quilting than mine. But the scale and design of the figure 8's are so right for this pattern, that I couldn't imagine a different design! So we're calling hers WISHBONES:
Her backing is different from mine, being this colorful balloon extra-wide fabric:

Quilt Info:
Pattern: Wallflower by Melly & Me
Size: 60" X 60"
Batting: Quilter's Dream Batting Poly
Thread: Glide 60 weight--Sterling
Quilting: Wishbones
Interesting Fact: My DH renamed this quilt "Four Fish Kissing". When we read this Bible verse recently, he noted how it fits this quilt perfectly:

Grace & peace!!! ~Nancy

  1. Oh my gosh, that is GORGEOUS! I love it! The colors are amazing, and the pattern is so beautiful. I think I've got to make it!

  2. Love this design, and fun that you both used the same fabric for the top -- was that planned, or did it just happen? Nice work, Nancy! I like that verse too -- had to go look it up. How have I missed that all these years?!

  3. Your both quilts are beautiful! Pretty quilting design, and her quilt back is cute!

  4. Thanks for making this quilt with me. I learned some new quilting skills in making this that I don't think would have happened if you hadn't got me started. Thank you for the beautiful "wishbone" quilting design!

  5. Wow! These are beautiful. I would never have thought to do the wishbones. They really look great.

  6. Just wonderful...so much fun that you made the same quilt!

  7. Lovely quilt! Even more lovely is hearing how you and your sister sewed along together and made the same quilt. Love that.

Thanks for sharing on Wednesday Wait Loss.
