Here is my 7th quilt finish on my "resolution list" for 2020:
Quilt Info:
Pattern: Lamplighter by Villa Rosa
Size: 42" X 57"
Fabrics: Indi-glow Charm Pack + Tula Pink Waves print + Grunge
Batting: Franken-Batting, pieced from Quilters Dream Batting scraps
Thread: Glide--Light Turquoise
Quilting: White Caps
Interesting Info: This is my second Lamplighter quilt. My first one was made as a quilt along, details here.
This quilt is made from a beautiful 24-piece indigo charm pack my sister gifted 🎁 me after she visited Hancock's of Paducah (plus other fabrics from my collection).
The backing is pieced from three long 20" leftover strips. The middle fabric is strawberries and the outer fabrics are from an IKEA duvet cover:
The quilting is "White Caps", to go with the Tula Pink Waves sashing fabric.
Current gas prices! Our local Costco is at $1.29/gallon.

Oh my! Your quilt is gorgeous. You know how I love blues!
ReplyDeleteA blessed Easter to you. He is risen and he has conquered death. I am so thankful for that.

Beautiful and cheery quilt with the perfect quilt pattern. Fun choices for your pictures marking the gas prices and great way to help out your community :-)
ReplyDeleteWe enjoyed our church community via Facebook today but as the churches are empty (I hope!) so is the tomb! He is risen indeed! Praise God! Happy Resurrection Day!
Lovely finish. Thanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!
ReplyDeleteNice color combo, Nancy!! It made for a lovely completed quilt. Love, love, LOVE that you adopted a section of roadway to finish up your quilt tour!! :o))
ReplyDeleteLovely! What soothing colors! I love Villa Rosa patterns--I'll have to look for this one. I think it will be perfect for some monkey fabric I found last night. (Found meaning in one of my bins, of course!)
ReplyDeleteHe is risen indeed!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt.
What a beautiful quilt, Nancy. I like the blues and the wave fabric rolling through the quilt. Will you be keeping this one?
ReplyDeleteAs I was reading down you blog, I was already to say what a wonderful quilt this turned out to be. But then - wait! $1.29 for gas? Where are you located? Ours just went down to $2.14 in Idaho.
ReplyDeleteSimple and beautiful, in my favourite colours - your sister has good taste :) . Another terrific finish, I hope you had a blessed Easter. Thanks for linking to Colour & Inspiration Tuesday.
