Quilt Info:
Pattern: Lil' Jo Jo from GE Designs
Fabric: Words To Live By from Moda by Gingiber--Stacie Bloomfield
Size: 14" X 35"
Batting: Quilters Dream 100% Cotton Select
Thread: Glide--Apricot Blush
Quilting: Ikat 1 ⤵️ from Intelligent Quilter
Interesting Info: This new fabric line is so cute!!! I bought a charm pack. The line is called "Words To Live By". Ironically, there are no words on any of these! There is a panel that's available separately, though, that has many words to live by, like: "Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible." "Give more than you get."
This pattern is a fun one, too! It's designed by Gudrun at GE Designs. It uses her Stripology Mini ruler, or it has instructions for using a regular ruler. She also has a full-sized JoJo quilt pattern in her Stripology Mixology 2 book using 10" squares.
For backing, I used this tea towel that was gifted to me from Quilter Bonnie! ⤵️ It's a 2020 calendar and we're well into 2021 now, but I have a reason for using it!It was designed by Gingiber, the same designer as the charm pack I used!!! ⤵️

ReplyDeleteLove Words To Live By and love your table quilt! This is the fabric I am featuring in my improv quilt blocks. I have a layer cake. I am not sure what I will do with the scraps. Maybe a table quilt or pillow? Yours is very inspiring. Thank you for sharing in my linky party again this week ... :) Pat
ReplyDeleteWonderful runner and so fun that you had the towel from the same designer. Very clever use of that towel. It looks to be a versatile pattern. Love the quilting pattern, too, of course. The photo on the tablecloth is perfect and the flowers are just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI like everything about your table runner!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun and beautiful runner. And the quilting is perfect.
ReplyDeleteCute fabrics, cute design, and I love the idea of using the tea towel in the backing! Looks great on your table (and the flowers are gorgeous)!

ReplyDeleteSo cute! Love that you used that panel on the back. Why not? Thanks for sharing on Wednesday Wait Loss.
ReplyDeleteI love both sides. If I worked in a fabric store I would be in the whole because I'd spend more than I made. This would be cute with a couple pumpkins here and there.
ReplyDeleteFabulous quilt. I love the block design and with such pretty fabrics. I can see why this charm pack was hard to resist.
ReplyDeleteCute quilt. Love the quilting!
ReplyDeleteLovely project. Congrats on the finish!
ReplyDeleteReally really cute runner. I just love that quilting ... it's mesmerizing. I feel like I'm more tempted every day to get a computerized machine, but boy am I intimidated at the idea of learning to use one!
ReplyDeleteYs, that is a lovely design and some gorgeous fabric, too.
ReplyDeleteA very lovely finish! I love that fabric line, must look into it myself. Thanks for linking up with TGIFF!
ReplyDeleteAnother fun, fast, frolic of a runner, and I love how you quilted it. Gudrun has fabulous designs.
