Athena Baby👶Quilt

I just finished this baby quilt made for our friends' granddaughter who arrived today!!!
Quilt Info:
Pattern: Athena from Stripology Mixology 2 by GE Designs
Size: 40" X 54"
Batting: Quilters Dream 80/20
Thread: Glide--Egg Nog
Pantograph: Indigo ⤵️ from Quilting It
This pantograph has a look of Japanese sashiko. ⤴️⤵️
Interesting Info: I was inspired by Lisa's Athena baby quilt that I quilted recently and decided to make one, too! Here's Lisa's quilt, made for her newborn grandson: ⤵️
This is a fast, fun quilt pattern designed by Gudrun of GE Designs, made from 10" squares!
This baby girl is 1/4 Japanese, so I wanted to make her a quilt using Japanese fabrics!!! ⤵️
I found some backing fabric in my collection--a traditional Japanese orange peel design!
We were so glad to hear of her safe arrival this afternoon!!! Now to run this quilt off to the post office!!!

Edited to add: When I put this quilt through the washer and dryer the white Grunge background came out pink!?! I recalled a website: Save My Bleeding Quilt, and followed Vicki's instructions. After two soakings, as per her instructions, the quilt came out white and beautiful again!

Grace and peace!!! ~Nancy
